Discover Hertford Online
Unofficial website for the county town of Hertford.
The site features a wide range of information about the town, local issues and events, with content dating back to 1998. As such it is the largest of the sites I have developed.
This is a frequently updated table-layout website featuring vertical navigation. The site includes database driven elements such as what's on listing, business directory and forum.
Also featured are a search box and contact form.
Hertford Museum
A simple static table-layout website maintained for Hertford Museum. The site features vertical navigation, sub-menus and a slideshow on the home page.
The site covers 20 pages including news, event listings and resources for schools.
The design is based on the museum's own colour scheme and logo.
The Company Of Players
Website of a local theatre company featuring information about the society and it's history as well as a wealth of information about productions, including photo galleries, reviews, and cast and crew lists.
The site also features an access controlled members area (or extranet) that provides news and information specifically aimed at members. This includes a calendar where people can register for Front Of House roles for individual productions
This is a table-layout website featuring a mix of static and database driven pages.
Ian Houghton
I was commissioned to provide a 10-15 page website for actor Ian Houghton, including an extensive gallery, video and voicereels.
The site features Lightbox to display larger images of photos and Flowplayer to play MP3 sound recordings of Ian's voice work.
S.P.Saban Ltd
A simple four page website for a local uPVC supplier and fitter. The site features a home page that summarises the business, a page about the services offered, a tesimonials page featuring comments from satisfied customers, and a contact page.
A Wayward Intellect
A CSS-driven table-layout website to promote the book "A Wayward Intellect" by Liz Logan.
This is a simple website that features horizontal navigation and five static pages that include information on the book, author, reviews and how to buy the book.
A page like this would typically cost £175.
Logan Architecture
A single page website for Norfolk architect David Logan.
The page features a description of David's work and values, together with a footer detailing contact information.
The header and colours follow the company letterhead.

Essaimage Associates
This project was a build only website for Essaimage Associates.
The site was designed by Ben Warren of Cascade Studios and features tabbed pages, slideshows, scrolling testimonials and audio players. The client was keen that the site should work on desktop systems as well as Android and iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads. Therefore the use of plugins was kept to a minimum and browser detection used to determine how to present media.
Retired Websites
Chippenham Lodge Estate
Country house used for functions. This 12 page website includes pages describing the company's offerings, the various rooms available, a gallery of photos, menus and various documents available in PDF format.
The contact pages also featured directions and a Google map.
Sadly, no longer in business.
Dental Health Care
A six page website for an award-winning dental surgery. Features include a description of the practice, services, history and a price list.
The site also featured photos of the various facilities, staff biographies and testimonials from satisfied customers.
Prices for similar sites start at £200.
The practice has since changed hands.
